Description
So far, most jacket I have modified have only require the 3 back panels to be modified. However, If your HP Ultimate jacket has additional panels, other than the three in the back of the jacket, that contain materials that CMP has deemed unacceptable, they will need to be modified to be compliant as well. This is added work and therefore adds cost to the modification. In order to modify additional affected panels to be CMP compliant, closure straps will need to be removed, the violating panels need to be replaced, and the buckles sewn back on. This additional work takes a significant amount of time and materials. In the event that your jacket has addition panels that need modified, the cost is dependant on how many buckles/straps need to be removed to replace the material. If the panel replaced required only 1 buckle/strap pair to be removed then the quantity for this item will be “1”. If the violating material goes father up the jacket and a second buckle/strap pair needs to be removed making the required quantity be “2” and so forth, up to the total number of buckle pair. Usually no more than 5. This cost is per Buckle/Strap pair and will be added to the base “Pre-2017 Monard HP Ultimate CMP Compliance Modification” cost. So far I have seen different combinations of panels that needed to be modified, but most have been the base “CMP Compliance Modification”.
If the additional panels are not considerably more flexible than the back three panels, You need to have all affected panels modified for CMP compliance. You will need to use this product to add those into the modification price. I will not partially modify any jacket. Jackets must be fully modified to be considered CMP compliant. Compliance tags will be added to the jacket once the jacket has been modified. The wording content of the compliance tags are an Oberle Enterprises LLC product and were NOT sanctioned by the CMP. They are only to show that Oberle Enterprises LLC modified the jackets per our understanding after talking to the CMP about the intent of the rule.
